Early 20th century adjustable twin light chandelier
This early 20th century adjustable light has a an integral ceiling rose with shaped top and ball decoration. From this there is a brass frame holding wooden wheels for the cord to run through. The weight in brass which is filled with lead also has wooden wheels. When adjusting the light it is advisable to use two hands to stop the cord coming out of the wheels. The glass shades are 23 cm across. The drop of the cord is nearly 2 m at the moment, obviously this would be cut to suit the ceiling height of the house it goes into. This piece has two large bayonet bulb holders B 22.
