Turn of the century chess set with leather board
A really nice quality leather on-board chessboard. My feeling is that it is Spanish. It has c-scrolls to the outside and a cross pattern on the black squares, with the reverse side covered in red baise. This board comes with a good quality weighted chess set in boxwood with the black place pieces ebonised. The king is 95 mm high and 40 mm wide, a pawn is 48 mm high and 30 mm wide. The squares on the board are 55 mm wide. This set does not have a box. I would say the board and pieces are first half of the 20th century.

Installation
Our lighting has all been tested and earthed but will need to be installed by a qualified electrician.
All of our furniture has been through our antique restoration workshop.
